Novo Fogo Barrel Aged Cachaca. Novo Fogo are a cachaça brand I have been aware of for a while now. They have made a bit of a stir in the US, where the brand was first launched.
Novo Fogo use more modern branding and marketing practices, than many of Brasil’s cachaça producers. The cachaça is marketed in a similar manner to how a Premium Rum brand would market itself. However, they do not go in for fairy stories, like many Premium Rum Brands. The information Novo Fogo provide, is authentic and focuses very much on transparency. Magnifica de Faria Tradicional. At last we have a cachaça which is available in the UK (and in parts of Europe). I first came across this brand and cachaça around 7 to 8 years ago in a chain restaurant here in the UK.
Casa Buchmann 12 Anos. It’s safe to say that is premium and luxury cachaça. As you have probably already guessed from the photos.
BemBom do Brasil is a cachaça aimed at the European market. I first came across it at a Rum Festival in Bristol, not Brasil back towards the end of 2017. I have since seen it at other rum festivals around the UK.
Cachaca de Alambique Sucuri 2 Anos. Sucuri is the common name used in Brasil for an Anaconda. As a result, Cachaca Sucuri is produced at the intriguingly named, Anaconda Ranch in Vilhena, Rondonia.
Saliboa Cachaca is part of the Seleta (Select) family of products. It is one of their more recents products. It is also one of their older cachacas, in terms of ageing.
Dose Classica Serie Ouro. This is a relatively new cachaça brand which was formed in 2002 by Ralphe Ferreira Jr, who was inspired by his grandfather’s love of Cachaca.
