Cassario Golden Rum. I reviewed a “Gold Rum” from the Cassario brand a few years ago.It was 2022 to be precise. Back then, discount supermarket ALDI were offering a 7 Year Old Costa Rican rum at £17.99. In the current “cost of living” crisis they are now stocking a NAS “Barbados Golden Rum” from an un-named distillery at £16.99.

Sir Ranulph Fiennes’ Great British Rum. Depending on your age and interests you may be more familiar with actor Ralph Fiennes – Ranulph and Ralph are cousins. Ralph is also a distant cousin of Prince Charles.
Sir Ranulph Fiennes is a World Famous British explorer and holder of several endurance records. For his latest venture he has teamed up with the English Spirit Distillery and Master Distiller Dr John Walters to create a British Rum.
Kane’s Golden Rum. Every so often I’ll walk into one of the Supermarkets and find a new expression of rum. More often than not I am already familiar with the brand. Supermarkets in the UK have been greatly expanding their rum selections, over the past 3 to 4 years. On occasion though, I come across a bottling which I have never seen or heard of before.
Samaroli Barbados Rum Distilled in 2010 TWB Exclusive 15th Anniversary. It’s probably worth me noting at this point that this is a rum from the Foursquare Distillery.
and and wife team Stuart and Paolo Leather. Formed in 2012 they originally released their rum under the Revolver rum brand.
R.L. Seale’s Finest Barbados Rum. Perhaps the most iconic and historically the most recognised product from the Foursquare Distillery. Especially amongst its longer aged rums.
Neptune is a new rum brand from the UK. Unsurprisingly whilst the brand is from the UK the actual rum is not. Neptune Golden Rum is a 3 year old rum from Barbados. The rum is actually from Foursquare distillery. Effectively what we are getting here is a “gold” version of Doorly’s iconic three year old white rum. Kind of.
