J Gow Wild Yeast Series NMO 2020. We are back in bonny Scotland, well more accurately the Orkney Islands and the small island of Lamb Holm. Which is where Collin Van Schayk has decided to set up a rum distillery.
This may seem a very odd decision but Collin’s father Emile owns the award winning Orkney Wine Company so a career in the “booze” industry was perhaps his destiny.
The Duppy Share Duppy White Jamaican Rum. The original incarnation of “The Duppy Share” has been around for a number of years. The brand also released a Spiced Rum, a short while back. I’ll get that reviewed soon……..
Lost Years Navy Strength Rum. There’s been quite an explosion of branded, blended rum brands coming out of the UK in recent years. For a long while all we had where the old “favourites” such as Lamb’s and Captain Morgan.
Privateer International Distillers Drawer When in Rum Overproof Rum. Thanks to increased distribution in Europe and very generous samples from rum fans around the world, I’m beginning to build up a nice set of Privateer Rum reviews.
Threeways Rum – First Release. Who knows, maybe there will be three releases of this? Or three different rums released perhaps?
Damoiseau Rhum Blanc 50% I’ve covered Guadeloupe’s rum distillery Damoiseau before. I’ve also got a few more of their rhums to cover in the future as well. Today I am taking a look at one of their more entry level products. In the shape of an white agricole rhum bottled at a hefty 50%.
Unconventional Distillery Opus. This rum like the distillery behind it are fairly new. It is also a British brand from the North of England. So don’t worry if you haven’t heard of them as yet. That’s part of the point of my reviews I guess…build awareness of new rums etc. Yeah we’ll run with that.
