Today we are looking at a rum which was produced on the famous Port Mourant Still. We know this from the MPM legend on the label – Main Port Mourant (or something like that).

Kill Devil Guyana Aged 12 Years. Kill Devil are a range of rums bottled by Whisky bottler Hunter-Laing. I’ve covered them quite extensively on the site so far.

rockact81r Mogwai Rum is without doubt one of the oddest rums I have ever known to be bottled. This rum is not a homage to the pre-horror stage of the furry little animals in the film Gremlins.
Though the band which the rum is named after obviously did take their name from the film. Quite why a Scottish post-rock band called themselves Mogwai is one thing, quite why a Scottish post rock band would want to release a rum? I’m kind of stumped.
Mezan are in Independent bottler from the UK. This Mezan Guyana 2005 is another rum they have been able to source from DDL.
Mezan have been offering good quality Independently bottled rums from a variety of distilleries for a good number of years now. They have offered numerous vintages and marques.
