An Interview with Karen Hoskin – Montanya Distilers. The World Wide Web throws up all kinds of opportunities for a blogger. So here I am compiling an interview with none other than Karen Hoskin of Montanya Distillers, Colorado in the US of A.
I have actually met Karen (at last years London Rumfest) and Karen was also present at the first European Online Rum Festival earlier this year. I decided to revive the interviews during lockdown to try and help out less “established” brands and those who are just getting their feet here in the UK.
An Interview with RumCask. I will keep the introduction for this one fairly brief as the three lads that make up the RumCask team Indy, Jaz and Chet have really put the effort in when it has come to this interview!
An Interview with Peter Holland. Normally when conducting an interview (and it has been a while) I note what their rum “connection” is in the title. With Peter that was going to make for a very long title, so instead we’ll just let Peter tell us all about his numerous roles in the UK and Global Rum Scene.

It has taken some prodding (thanks Lance) and some real thought, to finally complete this series of articles. Yes, two years is far too long to wait for this and I apologise. I hate leaving things unfinished. So I finally thought f*ck it I’ll just write what I think and see what happens. God knows I have done it plenty of times before. I’ll also apologise in case there is any repetition from previous articles. I do get carried away sometimes. So here goes…..
An Interview with Nils Van Rijn The Duchess Independent Bottler
Both the names of Mark Reynier and Renegade Rum may already be familiar to many of you readers. Undoubtedly more famous in the Whisk(e)y world than in the world of Rum Mark Reynier, has built a reputation for being a bit of a maverick.
