Cachaca Nova Alianca Balsamo. Translated roughly into English this means Cachaca New Alliance. The company behind these cachaca’s was formed fairly recently in 1988. The company is headed up by Janio Cesar Silva.
From what I can gather his the grandson (?) of Bijan Romualdo de Silva. Bijan aunched Indaiazinha Cachaca back in 1958 in Salinas, Minas Gerais. One of the largest and most respected Cachaca producing regions in Brasil.
Vale do Sol Organicos Cachaca Ouro. This cachaça hails from the “Sun Valley” in the state of Rio Grande do Sol in the south of Brasil.The distillery is situated in Parana.
Novo Fogo Barrel Aged Cachaca. Novo Fogo are a cachaça brand I have been aware of for a while now. They have made a bit of a stir in the US, where the brand was first launched.
Sapucaia Real 18 Years. Sapucaia is a brand of cachaça from Pindamonhangaba, Sao Paolo state. The Sapucaia brand began way back in 1933 on the Sapucaia and Coruputuba farms. The farms were run by local entrepreneur Cicero da Silva Prado.
Magnifica de Faria Tradicional. At last we have a cachaça which is available in the UK (and in parts of Europe). I first came across this brand and cachaça around 7 to 8 years ago in a chain restaurant here in the UK.
Casa Buchmann 12 Anos. It’s safe to say that is premium and luxury cachaça. As you have probably already guessed from the photos.
Cachaca Havaninha – The Saga of Anisio Santiago continues….Is the strap line for this brand of cachaça which hails from Salinas, Minas Gerais state. For those of you that have been following my cachaça reviews the name Anisio Santiago may ring a few bells as he was mentioned in an earlier review.
