I’m reviewing a rum from the Transcontinental Rum Line for the first time today. This release is in conjunction with The Whisky Exchange and is available exclusively via them (as the title of this review suggests!)
This seems a little strange as the Transcontinental Rum Line is actually the Independent bottling arm of La Maison du Whisky. Which is a French physical and online retail store. It is of sorts the equivalent of The Whisky Exchange in the UK. They have have ties to Velier as well.
Dead Reckoning Barbados PX. We continue our recent reviews of Independent bottlers with a review from the other side of the world. Today we have a rum from Aussie bottlers Dead Reckoning. I’ve covered quite a few of their releases over the past few years.
The Mad Monkey Distillery or the Adelaide Rum Distillery is South Australia’s pioneering rum distillery. So they tell us anyway!
Requiem SS Ferret Australian Pot Still Rum. I was going to leave the title of this bottling as Requiem SS Ferret – but I thought it looked a bit strange! So I’ve added another prominent feature, on the front label to the title.
