Berry Bros & Rudd Caribbean XO Rum.
Berry Bros. & Rudd have been in the wine and spirits trade since 1698 and still operate from their historic shop in London. Over the centuries they’ve bottled a wide range of wines and spirits and in more recent years they’ve released several rums under their own label sourced from all across the Caribbean.
Despite the presence of Angostura in the rum and bitters market, it doesn’t seem that their younger rums have caught the imagination.
Westerhall Estate Jack Iron Rum is a lightly coloured overproof rum from Grenada.
Pusser’s “Nelson’s Blood” Aged 15 Years is their marquee expression. I think, (and I will get this all confirmed) that the rum is a different blend to the Blue Label. It is not just a more aged version of it. However, I also understand that despite this it is still a blend of Trini rum with a hefty dose of the famous Port Mourant wooden still distillate.
Distilled in 2000 from the last Trinidad molasses and bottled in 2012. This rum from the famous Caroni Distillery has been bottled by Italian company Velier.
