Red Bonny Dark Rum a rum which has been on my rader for quite some time. I did expect to pick it up at a bit of discount at some point but that just never materialised.
Costing around £23 for a 70cl bottle with an ABV of 40% this is not a terribly expensive rum. It has surprisingly held a very rigid price online. I fully expected one of the larger supermarkets to stock this rum at some point but this doesn’t look like it is going to happen either!
Tiki Lovers have a small range of rums which are designed for “Tiki Drinks”. This is Tiki Lovers Dark Rum – Finest Caribbean Blend.
Compagnie des Indes (French East India Company) are a relative newcomer to the Independent bottling scene. They have however, released a frightening amount of rums over the past 2 years. The brainchild of Florent Beuchet who has a long history in the Drinks Industry having been the brand manager for Banks Rum and also helping his father run a small absinthe distillery in his native France.
A Demerara rum from
Habitation Velier tagline the “House of Pure Single Rums” is part of the ongoing Gargano classification system.
Up for review is a Port Morant rum from the Diamond Distillery by Bristol Classic Rum.
The El Dorado Rare Collection will likely need little introduction. This is a rum from the Enmore EHP (Edward Henry Porter – original owner of what was the Enmore Estate) Wooden Coffey Still.
