Foursquare 2006. The first collaboration between Velier and Foursquare Distillery, Barbados. This will certainly not be the last. With Velier no longer issuing their acclaimed aged Demerara rums from DDL, Luca Gargano has began sourcing rum from other distilleries to release under the Velier banner.

Another rum from the Kill Devil Single Cask range. This time hailing from Barbados. This bottling is identified as being from the Foursquare Distillery.
Due to a surge in releases and activity over the past 12-18 months. We have featured a number of Foursquares releases. It is likely that their key releases would have been reviewed as a matter of course, even if they weren’t as good as they are. Compagnie des Indes are a French based Independent bottler. This Barbados offering is aged for 16 Years. The distillate hails from the acclaimed Foursquare Distillery in St Philip.
Compagnie des Indes (East India Company) is the brainchild of Florent Beuchet. Florent previously worked as the US Brand Ambassador for the Joseph Banks rum brand. Foursquare Rum Distillery should need little or no introduction. Over the past few years alone, the distillery has released a number of new innovative rums.
These new rums compliment and expand upon the existing classics in the Foursquare repertoire.
Thanks to importer Marussia Beverages, the UK has been treated to a number of new releases in the past couple of months. Berrys’ or Berrys’ Bros and Rudd to give them their full name are an English Independent bottler of wines and spirits. They are also one of London’s leading wine and spirits retailers with the same premises at 3 St James Street London since 1698.

Foursquare Rum Distillery St Philip, Barbados. For many people Barbados is the birthplace of rum. Which is handy because in the Richard Seale Foursquare have one of the most vocal rum producers.

The Rum Swedes Barbados 2000 hails from the West Indies Rum Distillery (WIRD) who are responsible for the Cockspur brand.
The Rum Swedes brand is part of Svenksa Eldvatten (Swedish Firewater). They are independent bottlers of Whisky, Rum and Gin. Ran by Tommy Andersen and Peter Sjögren,who both have a long history with Scotch Whisky. Read more to see the fatrumpirate rating
