Rum of the Month August 2015
As it is supposed to be British Summer Time, I thought I would make this months Rum of the Month a summer rum. So I decided to go with this fantastic Overproof mixer.
As you can see Wray and Nephew White Overproof Rum is traditionally drank on Jamaica with Ting. A Jamaican grapefruit soda and plenty of ice. This a potent Overproof mixing rum but nonetheless a very good one. To read the original review please click on the link or photo.

Brugal have made a concerted effort to break into the UK market over the past couple of years. The rum has been re-branded and has even found itself in one or two of the nations supermarkets. The rum is imported into the UK by The Erdington Group based in Glasgow, Scotland.
Banks 5 Island Blend Rum hails from the hotbed of rum producers – Singapore. It is bottled by the Joseph Banks Rums Corporation PTE, Ltd. I’m not sure who Joseph Banks is but I bet there is a story behind him somewhere…….
