Dràm Mòr Single Cask Rum Foursquare Distillery Aged 13 Years. The success of the Foursquare Distillery is ongoing. Bottles in the Exceptional Cask Series are now being available only via a ballot at some of the bigger UK retailers. To be honest the very idea of a ballot, whereby you enter a raffle to actually spend your own money is pretty mind boggling in the rum world. However, it has been fairly common place for some time in the world of Scotch Whisky.

That Boutique-y Rum Company Greensand Ridge Batch 1. Regular readers of the site should be familiar with The Boutique-y Rum Company by now. I have reviewed a number of their offerings over the past couple of years since the company was formed.
This offering from Greensand Ridge is part of the recently released “Home Nations Series”. Which celebrated the growing number of rums now being produced in the UK. It also focused on some whisky as well but we’re not interested in that. Not today anyway.
The Duchess Beenleigh Artisan Distillery Australia 13 Years Old. It’s good to see independent bottlers releasing rums from distilleries/locations that have perhaps not had the attention from Independent brokers they perhaps deserve.
It’s good to see producers such as the Netherlands The Duchess reaching out and trying different rums. Rather than just going with the tried and tested Shelf Friendly Unit Shifters from the likes of Jamaica, Barbados and Trinidad (Caroni).
Levy Lane Rum Co Tamosi Sawaku Bielle Premium. A return for the Levy Lane Rum Co today, with their most recent releases of independently bottled rum.
Today we are focusing on their Sawaku Bielle Premium release. Produced at the Bielle Distillery on the island of Marie-Galante, which is situated closely to Guadeloupe.
Lost Years Four Island Rum. Up for review today is another offering from Turtle Savers Lost Years. This rum follows on from my review of their Navy Strength Rum a few weeks ago.
Lost Years Four Island Rum as the name suggests is a blend of rums (yes you’ve guessed it) from four different Caribbean Islands.
Sugar House Blood Tub Rum Vintage 2018. I’ve seen a couple of reviews of this already. Now being anally retentive is not something I excel at.
However, I’ve deliberately added the “Vintage 2018” moniker to the review title because I suspect we will be seeing more iterations of “Blood Tub Rum” over the next few years. So I like to try and keep my review titles as relevant and as ordered as possible.
