Cor Cor Green – Okinawan Rum

Cor Cor Green Okinawan Rum Review by the fat rum pirateCor Cor Green – Okinawan Rum. Cor Cor is a relatively new rum brand from Japan.  More specifically the Japanese island of South Borodino, Minamidaito, Okinawa.  I can’t say I’m familiar with the region either.  Japanese geography isn’t my strongest subject.

Ultimatum Sancti Spirits 1999 Cuban Rum 18 Year Old

Ultimatum Rum Sancti Spiritus 18 Year Old Review by the fat rum pirateUltimatum Sancti Spiritus 1999 Cuban Rum. Ultimatum are a relatively new bottler.  Most of their products are coming out of Dutch retailers so I assume they are based somewhere around there.  Ultimatum Rum seems to be an off-shoot of the Little Distiller.

They have released a number of bottlings over the past year or so (I have a few more yet to review) and have received generally positive feedback for their efforts.  The first thing they have been commended on is the price.  They are very reasonably priced. Read more to see the fatrumpirate rating

I have tried to use the most reliable looking information I could trace. At times it is as if there are two different brands with the same name. Read more to see the fatrumpirate rating

Bounty St Lucia Rum Review by the Fat rum pirateBounty Rum is something of a staple rum in its homeland the island of Saint Lucia. Finding a bottle of this rum become something of an obsession for the completist in me. I’ve always had a soft spot for Saint Lucia Distilers (SLD) and I’ve wanted to try this rum for a long time.

Finally I found a bottle at Drinks Supermarket here in the UK.  Complete with HMRC customs stamp on the actual label.  Suggesting that this was at one point distributed in the UK.  Indeed it was imported by the current SLD Importer Emporia Brands.  Quite how old this bottle is I’m not sure.  I suspect it is stock that Drinks Supermarket stumbled across in their warehouse after forgetting they had the odd bottle.
