As I write and had I not had issues with my (un)trusty old laptop I would have had this review published earlier, this particular bottling is only available in the UK from our good friends over at The Whisky Exchange. Who due to demand are currently in the process of re-listing this whilst ensuring they have sufficient bottles to send to those who purchased last week. I think they have re-listed it now

Plantation Rum Isle of Fiji. This rum represents the latest rum to be added to the Plantation Signature Blends range, the first since Xaymaca in 2018. The Signature Blends are continuous releases with rums from the likes of Barbados and Jamaica featuring.
Plantation have long been bottling rum from Fiji as part of their Vintages range and also some Single Cask offerings. For more details on the full Plantation range please visit their site, which gives a lot of information on their various ranges.
Ron Aldea Maestro 2006. Ron Aldea are a rum producer from the Canary Island of La Palma. They have been producing rum since 1936. Originally based on the island of Gran Canaria, the concern moved to nearby La Palma in the 1950’s.
If you have ever travelled to the Canary or even the Balearic islands around Spain you will have come across Ron Aldea in the Duty Free. It is also present in most mainland Spanish Duty Free outlets. Quite often they have tasters available – which to be honest never exactly blew me away but we won’t pre-judge based on that.
Hampden Great House Distillery Edition. It is always good to see producers such as Hampden putting out their own bottlings of aged rum, rather than selling bulk rum for others to profit from. It seems the distillery has grown in confidence and they now have a commercial bottling of the rum they drink on the estate.
The Duchess Martinique 15 Years Old Rum. For 2020, Independent Bottler The Duchess have begun a line of Hummingbird inspired r(h)ums, with artwork, as always from Dutch artist Hans Dillesse.
There has been a little bit of confusion surrounding this rhum. It has been suggested in some parts of the internet that it is a rhum from boutique producer A1710 based at the Habitation du Simon nearby. This rhum is very definitely from the Rhumerie du Simon.
