Flor do Brasil Aguardente de Cana. These Cachaca’s have been produced in Castelo, Espirito Santo since 1949. Information on this brand has been hard to come by. It appears that this cachaça the Special Reserve is their premium offering. Their other Cachaca’s are presented with differing bottles and logo’s. Which was a bit confusing.

Cachaca Agua de Arcanjo Prata. The first thing you may notice about this Cachaca is the distinctive shaped bottle it comes in. All that will become clear later in the review.
Hailing from Maquine, Rio Grande do Sul this cachaça is available in the distinctive 750ml size bottle. It is available for around 110 R$ in Brasil which equates to just over £20 in sterling. I would expect to see this cachaça retail at around the £35-45 mark if it hits UK shores.
Cana Brava Reserva Aneja Aged 7 Years. This is a product from the The 86 Co. – Noise and Spirits is their tagline and they have certainly done well in recent years with their range of products. If you wish to read more about the company here is there website.
As you might expect from the slick appearance of The 86 Co.’s website they have also set up a pretty sleek looking site for the Cana Brava range – they also have a 3-year-old white rum.
Samaroli Caribbean Rum 2005. For those unfamiliar with Samaroli, they are an Italian Independent bottler of Whisky, Rum and other Spirits. The founder Silvano Samaroli sadly passed away on the 16 February 2017 aged 77. He had handed the reins of the Samaroli empire to Antonio Bieve in 2008 but had remained active within the company until his death.
Tellura Amburana Cachaca. Tellura are a Cachaca brand from Campos de Goytacazes City, in Fazenda Abbadia, which is in Rio de Janeiro state.
They were producing sugar and Cachaca since at least the 1920’s at Abbadia Farm. However, they only recently re-introduced their Cachaca production. Which might be why their bottles are a little more contempory in the their design. More “Western-ised” perhaps.
