Santa Teresa 1796 Solera Rum. This is a re-review. I originally reviewed this back in 2015. At the time it was my 100th review. To be honest I’ve since stopped counting but we must be approaching 500 by now.

This was released in 2017 as part of the Velier “Drop by Drop” anniversary series. At the time of release this was limited to just 500 bottles.

We are currently awaiting the “general” release of Foursquare Rum Distillery Destino. The Warren Khong artwork used in these 500 bottles was exclusive to the Velier release. You could throw a few other rums into the mix, that use additives but Don Papa’s offerings are met with dismay and derision by most serious rum enthusiasts.
