Worthy Park Single Estate Reserve. I’ve been waiting quite a while for this one. I’m a big fan of Worthy Park’s Rum-Bar range. Which include a White Overproof, a Gold rum and a very tasty Rum Cream.
Over the past couple of years Independent bottlers have been releasing quite a lot of rums from Worthy Park. In the main these have been Single Barrel bottlings that were mainly aged in a European climate. They were sold young by Worthy Park. Read more to see the fatrumpirate rating
Compagnie des Indes (East India Company) Jamaica New Yarmouth 12 Year old rum. Compagnie des Indes are an independent bottler from France.
So far they have not achieved fame for any particular bottling or style, the way the likes of Velier, Rum Nation and Bristol Classic have. Skotlander Handcrafted Rum V 1,400 SØMIL is perhaps the most bizarrely named rum I have reviewed so far. The strange name owes mostly to the way it has been aged. When translated into English and the story is told it does make a lot more sense. Even if the way the rum has been aged is a little baffling……. Read more to see the fatrumpirate rating
